  • Fixed Currency now follows the one setting you choose. Subscriptions, marketplace widgets, the wallet and the admin panel all draw the same symbol — previously each read a different field and fell back to USD.
  • New Admin → Users: newest members at the top, a Joined column, and From / To date boxes to find a week's registrations.
  • Fixed Sign-up now records the join date. It never had, so the member list was ordered by storage position.
  • New A reel takes a cover frame off its own clip when it is posted. No extra step for the member.
  • Fixed Reels with no cover drew a black rectangle in the home-page strip.
  • Fixed Reel uploads are no longer capped near 5 MB. The clip is sent as a file in pieces with a progress bar, instead of being converted to text first — which made it a third bigger.
  • Fixed Press play on a video and it has sound. One that starts on its own stays muted, as every browser requires.
  • Fixed A blog's reading time read as "4 minutes", which looked like a post date. It says "4 min read".
  • Fixed Admin adverts and withdrawals pages are styled. Both were rendering without a stylesheet of their own.
  • Fixed A chat photo over the size limit now says so instead of silently refusing to send.

  • New An edit button on your own article. Opens the writer with the title, excerpt, cover, category and body already in it, and saves over the same article — same address, same comments.
  • Fixed The rich text editor: bold, italic, colour, headings and lists did nothing. The editor focused itself before running a command, and focusing collapses the selection. The highlight is now remembered and restored, and it stays highlighted afterwards.
  • Faster Profile effect frames draw at 40px and up only, and load when the face comes near the screen instead of when the page does.

  • New Press-to-play video. A video in the feed is a still with a play button until somebody presses it, so nothing downloads for a clip nobody watches.
  • Faster A busy home page was pre-loading every video on it at once, filling all the browser's connections — so menus and pages behind them waited. Measured before scrolling: six to ten video files fetched, now none.
  • Faster "Play videos automatically" now means the one on screen, not every one on the page.
  • Faster The default avatar was 59 kB at 256px and is drawn at 18px. Now 1.6 kB.

  • Faster The licence check was marking every page and asset "never store", so returning visitors re-downloaded the whole site each time. Pictures, styles, scripts and fonts now skip that check. Time to first byte on our own live site: 13.9 seconds to 199 milliseconds.
  • Faster Effect artwork is served straight from the web server and kept for a year, instead of going through the application on every page.

  • Fixed Restores the bundled theme stylesheet on installs that keep a small overrides file of their own. 1.27.0 assumed the full sheet was always present.

  • Faster Every visitor was downloading all three themes. They now get only the one they are looking at.
  • Faster The theme stylesheet was sent uncompressed and rebuilt on every page view. It is compressed and cached.
  • Faster The emoji picker was loaded on the feed for everyone, whether or not they opened it.

  • Security Message rate limits. Messages were the one action with no burst cap, so a scripted account could flood a site. Both message routes share one limit, so capping one does not move the flood to the other.
  • Security Payment amounts validated on every gateway, wallet spending serialised so two requests cannot spend the same balance, and rate limits counted site-wide instead of per worker.
  • New An admin tool that wipes one account's posts, comments, reels, stories, messages and listings while keeping the account.
  • New Install as an app (PWA). Each site installs under its own name, icon and colour, taken from your admin settings — not ours. On by default, switchable off.
  • New Admin logo size control, and a separate square app icon upload.
  • Fixed "Show the feed to visitors" was only enforced in the browser, so a logged-out visitor could still read posts directly. Enforced on the server now.
  • Fixed A paid theme counted as owned purely because its files were present. It now needs a real licence record.
  • Fixed Large site transfers failed because the whole database export was posted in one piece. A file already on the server can now be used by path.
  • Fixed Colour-background posts drew an empty coloured rectangle under the text instead of behind it.
